Work and screens
Professional life, communication and entertainment increasingly share the same screens.
Why ORAVU
We take care of our sleep, nutrition, movement and skin every day. Our eyes deserve a place in that same routine.
That is why ORAVU exists: to make daily eye wellness a proactive part of everyday health, not something we think about only when something feels wrong.
The context
Work happens through laptops. Life continues on phones. Entertainment, gaming, driving, travel and communication keep our attention moving from one visual task to the next.
In the Gulf, that routine often happens across long periods indoors, air-conditioned spaces and demanding outdoor conditions.
ORAVU began with a simple observation: the way we live has changed, but proactive eye wellness still has not become an everyday habit.
Professional life, communication and entertainment increasingly share the same screens.
Air-conditioned offices, homes, malls and cars are part of everyday Gulf routines.
Daily life moves constantly between cooled interiors and hot, bright outdoor conditions.
When our founder was asked what first made him pay closer attention to eye wellness, his answer was personal: long days in front of screens, constant movement between air-conditioned spaces and the heat outside, and carrying eye drops far more often than he wanted to.
That experience led to a simple question: was he the only one paying attention to his eyes mainly when something felt wrong?
He began asking people around him. The conversations kept pointing to the same modern routine: long workdays, phones, gaming, driving, social media, travel and constant movement between indoor and outdoor environments.
But when he looked for a daily nutritional approach, he found a category dominated by generic formulas and products that had not been developed with Gulf life as their starting point. That raised a different question: why not create something from the outset around the realities of this region—screen-heavy routines, air-conditioned spaces and demanding indoor–outdoor conditions?
That question made the idea bigger than one person's experience. It led to deeper research, consumer conversations and a product brief built around making proactive eye wellness more relevant to the way people actually live here.
That became the starting point for ORAVU.
Our philosophy
Proactive health is already part of how many of us think about nutrition, movement and sleep. ORAVU applies the same mindset to eye wellness: make care part of the routine, not something considered only when discomfort becomes the reminder.
How we work, travel, communicate and spend our free time shapes how much we ask from our eyes every day.
Good information should make eye nutrition and everyday eye-care habits easier to understand, not more intimidating.
The goal is a simple shift: eyes should have a place in the same daily wellness mindset as the rest of the body.
Why ORAVU had to be different
A long ingredient list, a medical-looking label or a collection of badges is not a reason to believe in a product. We wanted ORAVU to earn trust through the way it behaves.
People should be able to understand what is in an ORAVU product and why it is there without decoding vague blends or marketing shorthand.
Research should be explained with context. What an ingredient study shows should never be quietly turned into a stronger claim about the finished ORAVU product.
Trust should come from information people can inspect. Quality standards, product information and evidence should be easy to find rather than hidden behind generic claims.
ORAVU should begin with how people in the UAE and Gulf actually live, not with a generic formula or story created for another market and simply relabelled as local.
Built around Gulf life
ORAVU begins in the UAE because the everyday context that inspired the brand is here. The relevance comes from understanding that lifestyle, not from flags, landmarks or a local label added after the fact.
Work, phones, gaming and digital communication can keep visual attention engaged for much of the day.
Offices, homes, cars and commercial spaces make cooled indoor environments part of daily life.
Everyday routines repeatedly move between cool interiors and hot, bright outdoor conditions.
We did not want to take a product created for another market, put a local label on it and call it relevant. ORAVU was created with these everyday realities in mind.
The bigger ambition
Our goal is to build a specialist eye-wellness brand that people can return to for useful products, clear information and practical everyday guidance.
Growth should stay focused. Every future ORAVU product or piece of content should strengthen the same idea: eye wellness deserves a deliberate place in everyday health.
Products should belong naturally within eye wellness and earn their place through relevance, clarity and disciplined formulation.
Clear explanations should help people understand eye nutrition, everyday habits and the limits of what a supplement can claim.
The long-term aim is simple: help eye wellness become something people think about consistently, not only after discomfort gets their attention.
Our commitment
We believe trust should come from what we disclose, how clearly we explain our decisions, what we can substantiate and how consistently we behave. That is the standard we are building ORAVU around.
